For the very first time in the history of University of Maine at Augusta, the Student Government Association in collaboration with Community of Artists for UMA Social Empowerment (CAUSE) and the Community Garden are holding a Pop-up Food Drive in the Danforth Gallery to fight hunger in Augusta this summer. Donations of Canned Fruits and Vegetables as well as Boxed Mac and Cheese will be greatly appreciated by the Augusta Food Bank since these are essential for the currently running Kids Pack Program. The UMA Community Garden will also be donating their freshly harvested vegetables which include but are not limited to squashes, radishes, peas, green beans, garlic as well as strawberries.

This Summer, it's time for the UMA community to come together to make a difference in the greater Augusta community.
